  1. Then say those many greetings to other people instead of being a lazy bitch & escaping from someone. You say Happy Hanukah to Jewish people & Merry Christmas to Christians. Lazy excuses.

  2. Off topic. I was a huge Star Trek fan when I discovered it in The late 80’s. The first time I saw Whoopi on screen I remember I sat completely still (I didn’t smile, I didn’t react) until the first commercial. Then I ran screaming o my mom that Whoopi was on Star Trek! She just stared at me like I lost my mind. But in my defense. I was a huge fan of both her and Star Trek!

  3. I like how Whoopi rationally explained why saying Happy Holidays sometimes makes sense and ended it with "I could be wrong", displaying more intellect, empathy and humility in a few seconds than the current president has in 10 months.

  4. She brought Colbert a white Santa!….Oh my God, that's rascist!….because everybody knows that St.Nicholas from Romania was actually an African -American from Harlem!

  5. IF I SAID 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' SAY IT BACK , THEN TELL ME TO HAVE A HAPPY "WHATEVER" AND I WILL SAY "HAPPY 'WHATEVER' " …. SIMPLE ("WHATEVER" = ANY OTHER RELIGION)

  6. "It's all about the people!" and "America is about diversity!"…..but when Whoopi came to South Africa, she complained about the arrogance of white South Africans!…..how we must go back to Europe: but why doesn't she go back to Senegal or Ivory Coast!?

  7. /…..hold on Whoopi is saying you cant celebrate Christmas before thanksgiving?……and she is wearing a Christmas sweater….???????   really? I think she should do as she says.

  8. This isn't even an issue or problem. And there is nothing wrong with saying happy holiday. The problem is when demands are made and people bend to accept and tolerate others, and the same is not shown in return. There is no issue with saying happy holidays. Because first of all, who is actually going to tell someone they can't say it? And by the same token what has ever stopped anyone from ever saying it throughout history. It's pretty much a non issue. because I've seen happy holidays for years and years ago. The problem is when those projecting to be so tolerant and who are pressing for all these changes, begin to try to strip tradition and get things taken down and taken away because they feel it's outdated, hateful or racist. That's not how it goes… And politically people do this. they take non issues and show them to be hateful or racist just as leverage to take others rights away and traditions
