  1. Unless you really want to be here during Carnival, I would say to come to Rio from April to Agust. It is less hot, but sunny amd there are lesse rain as well. It rains A LOT during summer, and it is so hot, sometimes people from states ou europe cant handle it.

  2. To answer your question: When should you visit Brazil? In one word NEVER
To elaborate, I don't like to get shot, killed, drugged, robbed, held at gunpoint, get Zika or dengue fever on vacation.

  3. Loved this video (the first from your channel that I'm watching). I'm brazilian from Salvador, in northeast region, where we have the Street Carnival in february/march and the June Festivities in winter. The brazilian coast is amazing. There's a island called Fernando de Noronha, and its a marvelous place too.

  4. Hey. I would have never thought about Brazil, but your videos have inspired me to pick portuguese as my next language to study. It sounds great and hopefully I'll get to visit someday. Maybe I'll even get to make some new friends in Brazil!

  5. It seriously looked like you where about to get mugged at the end of the video.. the cars behind acting all mysterious and drops of a dude that walks towards you at the end

  6. I never comment on videos, cause its just not my thing… but as a native of Minas Gerais, I just wanted to say thanks for such an honest and informative video. Also, you hit the nail in the head on the food! It is the best, in my opinion, too. Thanks

  7. Mark, do you have nay idea what typically would happen inferring your child to a school that does not have the same calendar year than the one you are leaving?

For example, Honduras goes from Feb. through early November, going to Denmark in September and having 6 weeks of class left of school, do you think a child would have to repeat the current grade he is in or be allowed to continue to the next grade?

  8. Hi! I've just found your channel and I am enjoying your videos a lot! You must know already that Brazilians are very critical about our country, so to see a foreigner showing our country in the way you do it makes us proud to be Brazilian! It motivates me about my own country lol! Thank you so much for that! Already subscribed here 🙂
