  1. “Conflict” led to the Dalai’s Lama’s exit from Tibet? Lol! Yeah that is a really suspiciously diplomatic way of saying that China invaded Tibet… It was much more than a conflict, for God’s sake.

  2. You can clearly see how these palace, the temples, the gardens deeply influenced by traditional Chinese architecture style. Similarly, you can find the same thing Tibetan style did to many temples in Beijing.

  3. The first structure that came up in 7AD was retreat centre for the king. Chinese always try to claim everything related to Tibet as having the connection with China.

Two temples were built in 7AD by Tibetan King Songsten Gampo to house two statues of Buddha one brought by Chinese princess and another Nepalese princess as a dowry.

  4. The Middle-Way Approach is proposed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to peacefully resolve the issue of Tibet and to bring about stability and co-existence between the Tibetan and Chinese peoples based on equality and mutual co-operation. It is also a policy adopted democratically by the Central Tibetan Administration and the Tibetan people through a series of discussions held over a long time. This brief introduction to the Middle-Way policy and its history is intended for the Tibetan people inside and outside Tibet – and all those interested – to have a better understanding of the issues involved.

  5. Every one of these UNESCO features is narrated by Ms. Khan. For the love of all that is holy, STOP hiring her for these. Nobody wants to listen to this valley girl narration – it completely distracts from the seriousness of the content, sorry, EVERY viewer says so.

  6. ‘Conflict led to the exile of the Dalai Lama…’. Are you serious? Was this written by the Chinese Govt.? China invaded Tibet and like they’ve done in the past said ‘ this also used to be our land’. The world needs to not forget this fact.

  7. Tibet has historically always been a independent nation with its own flag, currency, national anthem , passport like any independent untill communist China illegally occupied it in 1959. That's the truth. And China is still trying to convince the world that Tibet belongs to them, only lie need to be convince not truth..
